Interview - Jamie Keddie - Designer of Random Encounter
Tyler was very excited when I showed him the kickstarter for this game and we backed it almost immediately and watched it just miss the funding goal. Alas like a phoenix...errr Troll King, IDW games picked up Random Encounter and the rest, as they say, is history. Today I sit down with Jamie Keddie and talk about the game and the rollercoaster that is kickstarter

When you get the rules wrong - Random Encounter replay
Well.....
we all have messed the rules up on a game. Admit it. I am guilty of this and was informed by IDW Games on the review of random encounter that i played it far too random and you are suppose to assign the armies to each of the 5 piles rather than just blindly assign them (I took the random far too literally).

Review - Random Encounter (2016) - IDW Games

Ty was excited about this game when it was on Kickstarter because the art was done by Jamie Keddie, an artist on Minecraft: Console Editions. Unfortunately, the game did not reach its funding goal, and he was saddened. However, victory was around the corner, as IDW games decided to publish the game! After much anticipation, Ty challenged me to a game of Random Encounter.
